Added into the gallery a couple of brand new italian scans. Here in Italy the sixth season has just been started to be aired on public television so, these articles has been published to promote the show. We’re going to see him again on tv on NCIS, on Special Agent Tony DiNozzo clothes, one that like women maybe a little too much. In real life he had wonderful and famous girlfriends. At night it happen something, in bed, that turn on his fantasy.

“I’m lazy, I’m not willing to shave everyday. With a little bit of beard I feel like a pirate, a sort of Errol Flynn”.
He said Errol Flynn, we think about Tony DiNozzo. Under the unshaved and tanned man there is the latinlover special NCIS agent, about that we’re going to see the sixth season while in the United States they’re going to watch the seventh.

It will end that we’ll see the perfect DiNozzo with beard?
No, at least for now but, who knows, maby in future he could show his dark side. It would be intresting see him become more “dark”.

And instead, how is Michael dark side?
Very strong. The other night I hav a rivelatory nightmare. It involved betray, hoaxs and bad behaviours.

Is it true that you remember all your dreams?
I love remember dreams. It’s like I’m telling me a story while I’m sleeping but last night this story was creepy.

Have you ever had a premonition dream?
When I was at university: I dreamt about me becoming an actor. There was a troupe filming a movie and an european train station. I came on a rail vagon and there were Meg Tilly, the actress, dressed in ‘800 constume. She told me: “You should be in this movie, it’s your destiny”. Then there was another part of the dream that involved her as a woman.

Do you do often erotic dream?
I dream often about women. My dreams teach me to be more free, less rigid. This happen sith sex too. I become more creative and I try to drag into my real life what I dream about at night.

You had a lot of relationships with actresses starting from your ex wife Amelia Heinle to Rachel Hunter and Jessica Alba…
A young man, in esotic locations, with wonderful women in a creative place… it’s inevitable! It’s a mix that risk to intoxicate you. On the other side, sometime life is supposed to be exciting and intoxicating.

And now?
I’m an adult. I can handle my romantic and sexual instincts.

And you found a girfriend. Her name is Sheila: What’s her job?
Our is a very serious relationship. Sheila is 28, she’s a doctor and she want to become onclogist. We met at a dinner with common friends. I started to be insistent and I wrote her tons of e-mail until she accepted a date with me. Our first date was in Paris and I’m not going to say anything more. I learnt that everything you say will remain foever on internet. You can Google stuff and read everything like it’s just happen also if for you it happen in another life.

Are you still in contact with your ex girlfriends?
I’m in contact only with the mother of my son but with others I have no relations now. We had different lives. My father got merried three times and his ex wives come home every Christmas with their new partners and children.

Your have been called as your father. Why your son is called August?
My father told me that, if I would have called my son Michael Manning III, he were gonna pay his studies but I preferred do it by myself. I discovered that I would have become a dad in Paris for Mother’s Day. I told that to my mum at museum, in fron of Rodin’s Pensatore. Rodinìs name is Auguste and, for this reason, I come home and I took the book of names. At the end of letter A I was exausted and I choose Ausugt.

How is your son?
He’s 13 years old and he looks a lot like me at that age, he love girls. He seems Mick Jagger: big eyes, big lips, long hair..he’s coolest than me! I can say that he’s more Johnny Deep and I’m more Jim Carrey.

How did you was with girls at that age?
I was into a male school so, I got excited everytime I saw a girl. I had lots of fantasies.

How do you pick them up?
I tried to make them laugh, I told stories .. but I lost too much time in this way! There were always someone who arrived and said “Ehi” and, in the end girls come with him.

You have lots of things in common with DiNozzo?
He, as an adult is as I was at 13: he come on woman a little too much. I hope he will grow. He’s a simple character! he need to grow up and become more complex. This process started in sixth season. His sense of humor is like a shell: he’s very vulnerable and confused. Tony keep talking about his dates but he doesn’t do anything with all that women. He doesn’t touch one from years! Maybe he has a sexual problem or an old relationship end bad. In any case I’m very grateful to DiNozzo and NCIS. I could be on Greyìs antomy at this time.

You could have been Dr. Sheperd?
No but I imagine it’s something I could have done if I weren’t on NCIS.

I read that you act without your underwear, it that true?
Yes, it’s all Cary Grant fault!

What does that means?
He wore garter underpants. That was his secret for acting like this because he said that it makes him feel different. I intruduced a little difference, I removed my underwear and that’s my secret.

Another personal detail: Is it true that your father disinherit you?
Yes and no. We’re very bounded but he didn’t want me to be an actor, he saw me in affairs or in politics. Acting is a too much uncertain job for him, with too less possibilities of success. He told me that I should have done everything by myself. He never gave my one dollars.

How did you pay your bills?
I san guitar on subways.

And did you gain enoguh?
About 200 dollar each week. It was enough, I lived in an apartment with two friends of mine. I used their elegants suits to go at auditions. Once they took me for a soap opera and they told me that I had had to use the uit I was wearing. I told anything to my friend. The problem is that, when he saw me on tv he regognise his suits.

Now situation is changed, you are certain not in lack of works.
Yes, I wake up at 5.00am for 10 month each year for NCIS. We shoot from 7.00am to 7.00pm.

The sixth season of NCIS is going grat on USA…
Yes, we beated even CSI and Dr.House. I think it depends on character: they’re very real. Plus the dialogues are not too much serious nor melodramatic. Other crime shows base they stories on investigations, they use the most updates tecniques, we prefer focus on people.

Have you ever asked to yourself what you’re going to be after this?
I’ve started to ask me that. I don’t know what I’m going to do but, as actor, I feel strongest so I fell good my future. In the meanwhile I do some indipendent movie and I orchestrate. I’ve even bought a piano: that was the thing I missed more from my childhood home and, the fact that now I can effort to buy one by myself is the prove of my success.

Is your father proud of you?
Now he’s 77 and, the other day he told me: “I’m happy you got success. Success make people feel good. But do you think to be a good actor? Because I watched NCIS and I can’t understand it.

Smile, blue eyes, rebel charme, a torrent of movie quotes. Meet Michael Weatherly is like to be catapulted back on the set of NCIS with Tony DiNozzo, the senior agent of Gibbs. But not because Michael tries to imitate his character; it’s Tony, who was totally created by the writers on the basis many similarities with the actor.
“Yes” MW confirms “the idea of making Tony as similar to me comes from producer Donald Bellisario. When I was got the role he invited me to dinner. He ordered a bottle of very expensive red wine and he asked me how I imagined the character of Tony, I spent an hour explaining to him that I wanted to create a character very similar to Tom Selleck in “Magnum “A young man, the eternal teenager, happy, but marked by the war in Vietnam and then we had finished the first bottle of wine.
Donald has ordered a second and said “Now you tell me more about yourself. When they gave me the script, my character had nothing of Magnum but was me MW.

What do you look like?

We both come from rich families and have been poor because we have abandoned our studies to pursue another career. We both love Italian clothes, good food and we are fans of cinema. ”

And the women …
“Yes, but I am luckier than DiNozzo.”

You have been engaged to the most beautiful women in the world Jessica Alba, Rachel Hunter …
“No, this is no contribution to it, Tony is immature, he loves women, but he is unable to understand them, this is why he can not keep a woman. Instead, I was fortunate to meet exceptional women who have prevented me from becoming like him. I also became a father pretty soon, at age 28, and it makes you more mature. ”

We’ll see DiNozzo different this season?
“After the end of his relationship with Joan Benoit, he discovers that it is very difficult to have a relationship with another woman, so he chose abstinence. Without revealing his colleagues for fear of losing his reputation as play boy.

Is The myth collapses?
“Saying that the block will not last long. But it is time that the DiNozzo play boy became an adult. We believe that there is nothing better than the joys of fatherhood to make it more mature. “
